White frost on the whole mountain, Cao Bang prevents cold for animals

16:50:51, 15/12/2020 In recent days, the temperature in the mountainous province of Cao Bang has been low, the risk of adversely affecting animals when frost occurs in many places.
The average temperature recorded in the localities this morning (December 8) was about 3-6 degrees Celsius. High mountainous areas like Nguyen Binh district, Chongqing have some places where the temperature has dropped to 2 degrees Celsius. , the temperature at the top of Phia Oac and some communes such as Phan Thanh, Yen Lac, Thanh Cong, Nguyen Binh district, the temperature dropped to -1 degree Celsius, frost and frost appeared.

Cao Bang province's herd of buffaloes and cows has about 220 thousand heads, in the cold wave of 2017, the whole province had more than 2,400 dead cattle, and in 2018, although the number decreased, the number of cattle died was up to a few hundreds

Due to the low forecasting weather situation in the coming days, the agriculture sector as well as the localities of Cao Bang province have recommended and instructed people to take care of the animals to avoid the situation of  hungry, cold.

In some highland districts, the temperature drops to low such as Trung Khanh, Nguyen Binh, Tra Linh, Ha Quang ... recommend that people take the initiative to put cattle in barns, clean the breeding area. and sealed to avoid drafts.

People also stock up on raw foods such as grass, straw and add refined foods when necessary and actively inject all kinds of vaccines to prevent diseases for animals.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Chairman of People's Committee of Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province, said: "In addition to state support, district fees we build a cold prevention plan for cattle. The first is still doing well. propaganda and advocacy for people to strengthen inspection, control, pay attention to doing well in stages of barns, and also pay attention to food sources for livestock, poultry, both refined food and dry food. If there is a lack of food, we will propose to the province to support supplementary food sources "
