Strom depression close to shore, Khanh Hoa heavy rain, strong wind

10:30:51, 01/11/2021 A tropical depression near the coast of Khanh Hoa, this province has very heavy rain, gusts of level 6 on the night of October 26 and early morning of October 27.
According to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, at 4 o'clock on October 27, the location of the tropical depression's center is at about 12.1 degrees north latitude; 109.3 degrees East longitude, right on the coast of Khanh Hoa province. The strongest wind in the area near the center of the tropical depression is strong at level 6 (40-50 km/h), level 8 shock.

It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, the tropical depression will move in the northwest-northwest direction, at 10-15 km per hour, entering Khanh Hoa and then weakening into a low pressure area. 


Vessels, fishing boats in Nha Trang city brought to shore safely. 

According to the Khanh Hoa Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue, from October 26 to early morning of October 27 in the province, there were heavy to very heavy rains, level 6 gusts of wind.

Forecast for the day and night of October 27, in the province, there will be moderate to heavy rain of 40-80 mm in the coastal city, in some places higher, wind level 3-4. The sea off Khanh Hoa has strong showers and thunderstorms, the visibility is less than 4 km, the wind gradually increases to level 4-5. Wave height 1.5-3 m. During a thunderstorm, watch out for tornadoes and strong winds.
In order to respond to tropical storms and floods, the Khanh Hoa Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue has issued a public message and directed the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, departments, branches and agencies. Agencies and units in the province implement response measures.

Khanh Hoa province calls on ships fishing at sea to come ashore and have a plan to ensure safety. Thousands of people who are raising aquatic products in cages were also informed and brought to shore for safe shelter.

By the morning of October 27, about 200 hectares of rice in Van Ninh district, Ninh Hoa were flooded, the damage has not been determined.
