Local flooding on Highway 37 causes traffic jams for many hours

9:51:30, 16/08/2022 On the afternoon of August 7, at Km17 (National Highway 37) section through Luong Thien village, Luong Thinh commune, Tran Yen district (Yen Bai), heavy rain occurred, causing local flooding, traffic jams, affecting some households. people living on both sides of the road.

After a heavy rain on August 7, because the drainage system on National Highway 37, section passing Luong Thien village, Luong Thinh commune, Tran Yen district did not ensure timely drainage, water flooded the road surface. some houses. The water rose quickly, some places flooded more than 0.5m deep, causing traffic jams for many hours.

Traffic police use specialized vehicles to bring people through the flooded area.

Immediately after the incident, the local government directed the functional forces to mobilize the "4 on the spot" option to help people move through the area safely.

At 16:30 on the same day, because the water had not receded, the local government had to mobilize more mechanical means to solve the local flooding, in order to quickly ensure the route.
