Lam Dong: Urgently handle the landslide near the headquarters of the Dong K’No Commune People's Committee

The area at risk of landslide was located just behind the headquarters of the Dong K’Noi Commune People's Committee, with many cracks appearing on the positive slope tens of meters high due to the impact of the recent heavy rains.

On November 2, the People's Committee of Lac Duong district (Lam Dong province) said that it had instructed relevant units to urgently inspect and handle the landslide near the headquarters of the People's Committee of Dung K commune. Propose and propose plans to the district before November 6.

According to Dung K’Noi Commune People's Committee, the area at risk of landslide is located right behind the office of this agency. Due to the influence from the recent heavy rains, many cracks have appeared on the positive slope tens of meters high.

The talus surface above the high hill is being depressed, falling about 50 cm above the old site due to underground water flowing inside. This area also appears many cracks with a width of about 30-40 cm and a length of about 30-40 m along the arc of the slope.

Before that, in July 2020, after heavy rains, the slope behind the head office of the People's Committee of Dung K'No commune also eroded, causing a large amount of soil and rock to flow into the garage, damage the fence wall, endanger people and officials working at the headquarters.

Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dung K'No Than Van Huu commune said: "There are a lot of storms now, especially the 10th hurricane coming soon, so we are concerned and proposed to the district to check Investigate, give a plan to handle this situation early. "

Regarding the above issue, the People's Committee of Lac Duong district requires authorities to inspect the field early, propose an investment form, and handle in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Public Investment 2019./.
