Heavy rain in Lao Cai caused heavy flooding, landslides on a series of roads

Heavy rain this morning in Lao Cai caused many roads to be deeply flooded, some places had landslides, traffic was divided.
According to the Report of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Lao Cai province, on the morning of September 23, Lao Cai province had very heavy rain, causing many roads to be deeply flooded, landslides.
Specifically, the traffic routes in Lao Cai city, the town center in the districts of Bat Xat, Bac Ha, and Muong Khuong are flooded 0.5-1m deep, causing local congestion.

Heavy rains also affected 5 houses (4 in Lao Cai city, 1 in Bac Ha). In which, a house in Nam Cuong ward, Lao Cai city collapsed completely due to flood water overflowing. More than 4.4 ha of crops in Muong Khuong district were inundated. In Thai Giang Pho (Bac Ha district) also flooded, the damage has not been recorded. Facing the above situation, the district's Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control directed wards, communes and towns to mobilize forces to help the people, at the same time regulating traffic, cleaning up mud and lands.
