Rangers, police, soldiers, border guards, FPF police, militia ... are being strengthened to Dien Phu commune to fight forest fires. Due to the high and hot weather, at night, the work of putting out the fire and making the fire-blocking runway, avoiding the spread of fire, is facing difficulties.

As reported, the forest and protection forest fires originated in Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district on June 27. After that, the fire spread to Dien Loi commune, Dien Chau district. In the evening of June 27, fire in protection and production forests also occurred in Dien Loi commune.

More than 1,000 people including the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police and 1st Regiment, Division 324, Dien Chau District Police, Dien Chau Military Command, Dien Chau District Forest Protection Department , Dien Thanh Border Station (Dien Chau District) ... and the people came to the scene to put out the fire and make a fire-blocking runway. However, due to the dark night, the strong wind blows from Laos and the heat keeps the fire close to the residential areas.

On the morning of August 28, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee came to the scene of the fire in Dien Loi commune to direct fire fighting and encourage the forces to strain under the extreme heat of the sun to save the forest.

By 10 am on June 28, forest fires were under control. However, hundreds of hectares of forests in Dien Chau and Yen Thanh districts were burnt down.

Currently, the weather in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces is hot and fierce, which makes the risk of forest fires and points of forest fires likely to flare up again.

Although wildfires were extinguished, the authorities and units continued to cut people to be on duty 24 hours a day to prevent the outbreak of the fire, promptly control the fire and prevent the spread of fires.
