Emergency evacuation of nearly 200 students and teachers because of the landslide

10:42:39, 05/03/2021 On March 4, the People's Committee of Quan Hoa district (Thanh Hoa) said they had transferred all 197 students, teachers and staff of the semi-boarding school for ethnic minorities - Secondary school (PTDTBT-Secondary School) Trung Thanh to New school place after a landslide.


Previously, from January 1, 2021, during the construction of the anti-landslide embankment at Trung Thanh semi-boarding school area, there was a phenomenon of cracked mountains, landslides on high mountains. down to the school area.

To ensure safety, Quan Hoa district transferred all 197 students to study in the afternoon at Trung Thanh Primary School. Teachers and staff of the school are arranged to live in 2 rooms of Phai Village Cultural House (Trung Thanh commune). Quan Hoa District People's Committee requested that, in case of unusual weather, the road passing through the landslide area was separated, the school coordinated with students' parents, the local government arranged for all students to stay. at local homes around Trung Thanh Primary School.

Quan Hoa district also prepares a contingency plan, if heavy rains occur, all the pupils of the Primary School and the students of Trung Thanh Secondary School and DTBT-Secondary School will be sent to study and stay at the Center for Vocational Education - Education. regularly district.
