Disaster Prevention Policy and Technology Center promotes online working to ensure health and safety for officials during the Covid - 19 season

11:26:34, 04/04/2020 In order to take initiative in the work to well perform the task of advising and assisting the state management in the field of natural disaster prevention in the season of Covid - 19, the Center has developed plans to deploy working from distance and comply with the instructions on prevention of epidemic but still ensure the assigned work.

Disaster prevention and dyke technical office organizes online meeting through Zoom cloud meeting application

Based on the highly complicated evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic; to ensure the avoidance of concentrated activities of more than 20 people for at least the next 2 weeks under the Prime Minister's direction at the Governmental Permanent Meeting on April 26 and Directive 16 / CT-TTg on Social isolation, the Center has applied new technologies to support online data management through internal server systems, online meeting software (Zoom cloud meeting, skype, viber, Zalo ...), install  remote software, build integrated databases from multiple sources to monitor data (Meteorology, Hydrology, reservoirs, key locations of dykes ...) over real time from anywhere via internet environment.

Online meeting via Skype

During the temporary social distancing , officials, civil servants, public employees and workers who are arranged in the plan must commit to strictly follow the instructions of the health agency, take personal responsibility to the Head of the unit and before the law in disease prevention; always keep in touch with agencies and units to promptly handle and solve the work; In unexpected cases, according to working requirements, they must be ready to return to the offices of the working agencies according to special regulations, especially those who are directly involved in supervising the database and the disaster prevention and control committee.

Youth Union sprayed the office

In addition to preparing online working options, the Center provided masks and dry handwashing water to all officers. Direct the Youth Union to preside over and coordinate with the Executive Board of the Youth Union of the Center for Irrigation Policy and Technology and the Center for Testing Agricultural Machines to assign Union members to spray disinfectants in the Inter-agency area of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Truong Chinh. Regularly propagate about the development of Covid-19 through the information channels and social networks of the Center, especially the guidance on making online medical declarations at tokhaiyte.vn (or NCOVI application on smartphone).

The Vietnam natural disaster monitoring system built and developed by the Center has integrated specialized databases for real-time monitoring and supervision.

In the coming time, the Center will continue to apply new technology to meet the remote job to fulfill the assigned tasks, advise Vietnam Disaster Management Authority to build internal work management tools, shared-database systems can be accessed regardless of space and time to promptly respond to the disaster management and guidance.
