Ben Tre: Urgently overcome landslide in Phu Da dune area

16:39:9, 16/11/2022 On November 10, the People's Committee of Cho Lach district (Ben Tre province) said that in the Phu Da dune area (Vinh Binh commune, Cho Lach district) a serious landslide had just happened.

The incident at Phu Da dune embankment (belonging to Group 15, Phu Binh hamlet, Vinh Binh commune) completely collapsed the dyke section about 70m and the gabion embankment protecting the dyke on the side adjacent to the Co Chien river. The landslide flooded 2 houses and about 2 hectares of fruit trees of people.
Immediately after the incident, the People's Committee of Cho Lach district and the People's Committee of Vinh Binh commune mobilized local forces to support two households whose houses were flooded to relocate furniture and household items. dry place to limit damage; put up signs, zone the landslide area to avoid accidents; organize means of reinforcement early, not to let overflow water continue to cause damage to people's property; at the same time, damage statistics for support policies.
