A strong earthquake rocked eastern Japan

15:35:0, 05/05/2020 The earthquake struck at 07:07 (local time), with a depth of about 50km and located northeast of Chiba province. Japanese authorities do not issue tsunami warning.

On May 4, an earthquake of magnitude 5.5 rocked parts of eastern Japan, shutting down the shinkansen high-speed rail service.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the earthquake occurred at 22:07 (local time, 20: 07 Hanoi), with a depth of about 50km and located northeast of Chiba province.

Neighboring provinces, including Tokyo, also felt the vibrations.

However, Japanese authorities did not issue tsunami warnings./.
