Commenting on the weather trend from June 25 to July 20, the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting said that 3-4 heat waves appeared in the Northern region, concentrated in the region. In the Central region in July, the possibility of hot weather lasts for many days, sometimes there may be intense heat.

During this period, intra-regional fluctuations in the tropics (MJO) during the countervailing phase in Southeast Asia and Vietnam.

The MJO condition is unfavorable for tropical cyclone activity in the East Sea and causes less rain in the Central region, which in turn makes the national temperature tend to be higher than average.

As a result, drought continues in the Central region.
